Vitale e Agata, and the 17th-century church of Santa Maria Assunta. In the village center, notable sights include a series of various stately homes, several fountains carved from ancient Roman sarcophagi, and the beautiful square overlooked by the former town hall. Since a merger in 2022, Rovio, along with Melano and Maroggia, is part of the new municipality of Val Mara. Rovio has 789 inhabitants and is situated at 497 meters above sea level.
