Born and raised in the Mendrisiotto region in 1939, he obtained his commercial diploma in Bellinzona in 1958 and began his professional career in the international transport sector. He subsequently moved to Germany, where he graduated in Economics in Bonn in 1967. Upon returning to Ticino, he worked as a marketing assistant at Alemagna in Chiasso, which later became Findus. In 1972, he joined Europrogramme, a Swiss real estate holding company operating internationally in the field of real estate investment funds, where he was responsible for marketing. At the same time, he taught marketing courses at the Swiss Marketing Club, serving also as President of its Ticino Section. From 1982 to 1994, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Banca dello Stato del Cantone Ticino. In 1988, he took over the management of Immobiliare VESA, a real estate agency active in Ticino since 1974. Together with his daughter Isabel, he developed a successful and well-established real estate sales business over the years, contributing significantly to the agency’s growth and position in the Ticino property market.
Born in 1961 and a native speaker of both Italian and German, he spent his childhood in Lugano. He began his professional career at the European headquarters of Rotary International in Zurich, where he was responsible for relations with Italian- and German-speaking Rotarians. Following a period in the United States, he joined the European staff of the international organisation Up with People, initially as Director for Southern Europe and subsequently as European Director of the WorldSmart Leadership Program. He then continued his professional career in Zurich with the European League Against Rheumatism, where he served as Deputy Secretary General. After gaining extensive international experience in the non-profit sector, he returned to Lugano in 2006 and took over the management of Immobiliare VESA, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his professional career in real estate. His in-depth understanding of different cultures and mindsets, combined with his language skills and extensive international experience, makes him a particularly qualified point of contact for international clients interested in purchasing a property and relocating to Ticino.
Born in 1964 and a native speaker of both Italian and German, she spent her childhood and years of education between the Mendrisiotto region and German-speaking Switzerland. After further developing her language skills abroad, she returned to Ticino and joined her father Marco in the development of Immobiliare VESA. In 1997, she obtained the Swiss Federal Certificate in Real Estate Management and, in 1998, received her licence as a real estate trustee. She is duly registered in the Cantonal Professional Register of Trustees. After many years of experience within the company, she took over the management of Immobiliare VESA in 2026, continuing a professional path that began alongside her father and developed over many years in the Ticino real estate sector. Over the years, she has also held various positions within the Swiss Real Estate Association SVIT Ticino and the Ticino Federation of Trustees Associations FTAF, gaining an in-depth understanding of the Ticino real estate market and its particular characteristics. Passionate about travel, animals and good food, she is happily married to Eugenio, her husband and professional colleague.
