A staircase leads hikers back to the shore, where the Casa dei Pescatori (Fishermen's House), owned by Pro Natura Ticino, is located. The building, which is not open to the public, is used for Pro Natura's many local activities, especially for children and young people. From the viewing platform next to the house, with a little luck, you can see kingfishers darting across the surface of the water. In early spring, with a little luck, you can witness the elegant courtship dance of the loon from this spot. Or you can simply sit on a log on the shore and enjoy the peace and quiet and the view of this beautiful body of water. Muzzano has 844 inhabitants and is located 395 meters above sea level.
